"The José Ramón Losada Circuit is located in Arteixo, A Coruña. It spans 1,150 meters in length, with a width ranging from 12 meters at its narrowest point to 16 meters at its widest.
The track layout combines fast and slow corners, long straights where vehicles can reach a top speed of 140 km/h, two elevation changes, and a unique banked curve—the only one of its kind in Spain.
The circuit hosts six events per year, including two days of free practice, two rounds of the Galician Autocross Championship, the Off-Road Trophy, and the Spanish Championship.
Over the years, there have been three different circuits, with the current one in use since 2000. Continuous improvements have been made annually, enhancing both track safety and facility quality.
Every event is special and spectacular, making it difficult to highlight just one standout moment. Throughout our history, we have welcomed many renowned motorsport figures, including Álex Palou, Nani Roma, Dani Sordo, Mikel Azcona, Miguel Molina, Chris Ingram, Roberto Merhi, and Christine GZ.
Our focus remains on evolving the circuit, enhancing safety measures, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that every visitor enjoys maximum comfort while experiencing unforgettable racing action.
Looking ahead, our goals include further strengthening the CarCross Trophy an end-of-season event featuring top drivers from various disciplines and autocross experts. Additionally, one of Peña Autocross Arteixo’s long-term ambitions is to host a round of the European Championship."
A big thank you to Arteixo representative Adrian Bouzas for the detailed insights. We look forward to seeing Arteixo achieve great success!
