Rudy Van Buren

Dutch driver Rudy Van Buren, after narrowly missing out on the podium in the 2025 overall standings, has already confirmed his participation in the entire European Autocross Championship in 2026, still in the Buggy 1600 category, but with an important change.

After his debut in the European Autocross Championship in 2021 with F&S (Rene Mandel), the fast Dutch driver certainly achieved many good results in qualifying but consistently suffered from bad luck and errors in the heats and final.

Last year, after three years with the F&S chassis, he raced a full season with a Peters Autosport, but still missed out on victory and finished fourth in the final standings.

Van Buren is only missing a victory, and obviously a podium in the overall standings. His speed is there, and Rudy will try again in 2026, competing in all the European Autocross Championship races but with a new chassis: ALFA RACING.
