PK Chalets Racing announces their plans for the 2026 season.
Mervin Klaassen and Nathan Ottink have confirmed their full participation in the European Autocross Championship (Buggy 1600). We've heard rumors of a possible third driver in the Buggy 1600 category, but nothing official is forthcoming. We'll wait for their announcement.
Not only Autocross, they're also competing in RallyX in the CrossCar category, and Mervin's son (Pim Klaassen) will also be competing in the Junior CrossCar category.

"In 2026, we'll be back stronger than ever. With a fresh new look and a sporting spirit, we're going all out again this year.
Just like last season, Nathan and Mervin will once again be fielding two Buggy 1600s in the European Autocross Championship. With last year's experience, our ambitions are high, and we're more than ready to compete with the European elite once again.
PK Chalets Racing is also expanding its rallycross program, just like last year. We'll be competing in all four RallyX South races and the race in Nysum, Denmark (RallyX Nordic), with Pim, Nathan, and Mervin driving three Peters Crosscars. A great step towards competing in international competition here as well.
In addition to competing in RallyX, Pim Klaassen will be competing in the full Dutch and Belgian Championships in the Crosscar Junior. The goal? To clock up a lot of mileage and gain a lot of experience! Besides the well-known trio of Pim, Nathan, and Mervin, more names will be added to the team this year, both in car racing and rallycross. More on that later!
