As the new season approaches, AX MAGAZINE ITALIA presents Josef Svorc's (CrossCar, RSK) story about last season's progress and reveals Josef's plans for the 2025 season!
"I evaluate the season positively, even though it wasn't the best at times. A key positive is that we consistently improved and were performing better towards the end of the season. The highlight for me was probably the national race in Nová Paka. Everything went as well as it could, and I will always remember it fondly.
Overall, we improved by one position in the standings, which is a significant achievement given the level of competition. Last season, I had the chance to try out the crosscar division, competing in three events of the European Championship: Saint-Igny-de-Vers, Maggiora, and Mollerussa. The competition in this division is incredibly tough, and adapting was not easy. The biggest challenge was getting used to the new car and the Yamaha MT09 engine. I also had to adjust my driving style, which is still a work in progress, and there is plenty of room for improvement.
These races were more of a learning experience, with the primary goal being to familiarize myself with the car and the dynamics of racing in this division. My best result was in Mollerussa, Spain, where I finished in 12th place—a huge achievement for us.
I am very excited about the 2025 season. We plan to compete in the full European Championship in the crosscar division, and I hope for good luck and success. I would like to express my gratitude to my family and Team RSK Trade for their support."
AX MAGAZINE ITALIA wishes Josef a truly successful season!
