FEUILLADE AND ITS GOALS 2025

19 December 2024, Ronalds

AX MAGAZINE ITALIA presents Malone Feuillade's story about the ups and downs of the 2024 season, as well as the plans and goals for the 2025 season.

"2024 season was a really good one for me because I was fighting for the title throughout the entire season. I love it when things get difficult and I’m forced to search for small details and correct mistakes in order to win. I finished as the vice European Autocross champion this season. While this wasn’t my main objective — as my ultimate dream is to win the title — I’m still proud of my performance.

At the start of the season, I was leading the championship. Out of 5 races, I won once and finished on the podium 4 times. However, things got more challenging after that. I faced several issues with my engine, electrical system, and had frequent contact with other drivers during the heats. I also had a big crash at Matschenberg due to contact with an opponent.

After that, I managed to achieve only 2 more podiums, though I did win one race. I finished 2nd overall, which is a good result, but I feel it doesn’t fully reflect my performance throughout the season. I had hoped for more.

I suppose my strongest point is that I am very consistent every season. However, with certain problems, it becomes difficult to score points.
For next year, we will learn from the mistakes we made this year. I will also work on my driving to perform at my best and achieve better results in the future.

The high point of this season was, of course, my two victories in Latvia and Hungary, which allowed me to score a lot of points and stay competitive throughout the season.

The difficult moments were spread out over the entire season, aside from the two victories. For example, after my crash, we had to do a lot of work to get the machine back in order for the following weekend. Despite all that effort, we ended up breaking several wheels due to the crash at Matschenberg. I also experienced a completely jammed accelerator in the semi-final, but I managed a remarkable comeback with the best time of the two semi-finals.

To top it off, I dominated the two French events from start to finish, only to end with results that I don't even want to talk about...

Afterward, you just need to have a strong mindset and a certain level of maturity to remind yourself to move on quickly, keep your head up, and maintain confidence for the following year to achieve — I hope — my dream.

We will work hard this winter to, as I mentioned, learn from our mistakes so that my career can truly begin.

Thank you to AX Magazine Italia for this nice moment. See you next year with a clear goal: the title"

AX MAGAZINE ITALIA thanks Malone for his responsiveness and wishes him a successful 2025 season!
