ROBERT THEUIL NEWS

A big change is on the horizon for the French driver!

13 January 2026, Stefano

After several seasons with his trusty Alfa Racing, powered by a naturally aspirated Volvo engine, French driver Robert Theuil has decided to turn the page.

Robert has a fantastic 2025 season behind him, with numerous podium finishes, two fantastic victories in the European Autocross Championship (Bauska & Nova Paka) and one in the Czech Championship in Porici.

We know that the level of the SuperBuggy category is rising rapidly, especially after the arrival of Petr Nikodem in 2020 with the Honda Turbo and Zdenek Antony.

The pace is truly high, especially on fast tracks, although Theuil with his naturally aspirated engine has always managed to keep all the turbos at bay (like Bernd Stubbe years ago).

In 2024 and 2025, he finished third in the European Autocross Championship. His ambitions for the 2026 season are certainly higher, which is why he has chosen to change engines.

In the 2026 season, Robert Theuil will race a HONDA TURBO-powered ALFA RACING SuperBuggy, like two-time European champions Petr Nikodem and Zdenek Antony.

We can't wait to see him in his first race, which is expected to be the Czech Championship test race in Nyirad, Hungary. He will then normally compete in the European Autocross Championship!
