The 2025 FIA European Autocross Championship in the Buggy 1600 category has hit its midpoint, and the fight for the title is intense. With four distinct winners emerging from the first five rounds, each race has brought dramatic twists on-track battles, making this season one of the most unpredictable and captivating in years.

Czech driver Jakub Novotny leads the Buggy 1600 standings after a string of strong finishes that have earned him 123 championship points.

Round 2 – Musa: 30 pts (3rd)

Round 3 – Nyirád: 31 pts (2nd)

Round 4 – Matschenberg: 30 pts (3rd)

Round 5 – Nova Paka: 32 pts (2nd)

Hot on Jakub’s heels, just one point back, with 122 points is Rene Mandel — the only driver this season with more than one victory.

A little further back—but not by much—is Dutch driver Danny Van Den Berg, sitting 29 points off the lead and definitely determined to close the gap and challenge for the top spots.
