The 2025 FIA European Cross Car Championship has reached its halfway point, and the competition in the Cross Car category is at an all-time high. With three different winners across five rounds and fierce battles throughout the field, this season is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in recent memory.
Leading the standings is French driver David Meat, who has amassed 128 points thanks to consistent front-running performances:
Round 1 – Seelow: 32 pts (2nd)
Round 2 – Musa: 35 pts (1st)
Round 3 – Nyirád: 22 pts (2nd)
Round 4 – Matschenberg: 29 pts (3rd)
Round 5 – Nova Paka: 32 pts (2nd)
Chasing closely in second is Spanish driver Ivan Piña Chinchilla, sitting on 121 points with two race wins to his name. His season has been equally impressive:

In third place is France’s Yoann Gillouin, with 112 points, bolstered by dominant wins in Nyirád and Nova Paka:

With five rounds still to go, the championship remains wide open. The top three drivers are separated by just 16 points, and several others are still within striking distance. The depth of talent on the grid has produced intense racing, unpredictable results, and a variety of podium finishers at every event.
