Euro AX JuniorBuggy Pre-Season Analysis

26 March 2025, Ronalds

This time, we will look at what we can expect from the new Junior Buggy season and revisit the key moments from the previous one.

The 2024 season began with the hope that we would no longer see a championship where a single driver dominates while leaving the rest trailing far behind in the dust. At least for the first four rounds, this prediction held true, it seemed like the battle for the title between Nathan Ottink and Malone Feuillade would go down to the final race. However, in the second half of the season, Malone struggled with both forced and unforced errors, ultimately allowing Nathan Ottink to claim the championship. A standout performance also came from Martin Kolomy, who consistently fought for top three finishes in almost every round. Meanwhile, others like Eliška Plná, Eliška Pytlounová, and Joep Cuenen remained close behind, always in the mix.

What can we expect from the new season? One crucial factor is that the reigning champion has moved up to the CrossCar category, making Malone Feuillade the main contender for the European title. After Joep Cuenen's fantastic victory in Mollerussa we are sure that we will see him fighting for victory in every race. However, we shouldn’t overlook the fast Czech drivers Eliška Plná and Eliška Pytlounová. Additionally,  competitors such as Martin Kolomy, Ondra Pospisil, and Ladislav Hanak Jr. could shake things up at the top by taking crucial points away from the title favourites.

Will our predictions come true? We will  only know for sure after the final round of the season, but we will have a clearer picture after the Seelow event. See you on the track!
