XC European CrossCar Pre-Season Analysis
23 March 2025, Ronalds
As we await the new season of the European Autocross Championship, we continue to explore what awaits us in 2025, this time focusing on the Cross Car category.
In the 2024 season, the Cross Car category was completely dominated by LifeLive driver David Meat, a nightmare for his competitors, but now in this new season there will be plenty of opponents trying to steal his title.
LifeLive has been the most dominant manufacturer so far, but the Speedcar team is stepping up with its new Wonder R model, supported by a lineup of very fast Spanish and French drivers, including 2019 European 1600 buggy champion Vincent Mercier, Diego Martinez (2024 junior xc vice champion), Ares Lahoz and Borja Gonzalez. Ivan Pina Chinchilla and Juanjo Moll Hernandez switch to the LifeLive chassis, 2024 Junior Buggy Champion Nathan Ottink will also be behind the wheel of a LifeLive machine in 2025.
A team to watch this season will definitely be the Rapace Factory Team, with two great drivers competing in every race of the 2025 championship, Yoann Gillouin and Valentin Comte.
We are sure that many other riders will be there fighting in the top positions, for example Felix Buddelmeyer with the new Rapace chassis, Nicolas Langhendries with the MYGALE chassis, Bob Schanen (Rapace), Mathias Maitre (Peters) and many other riders that you will only discover by following us!
With all these elements coming together, the 2025 season promises to be absolutely electrifying. Stay tuned, we’ll be updating you with every event!
