FIA European Autocross & Cross Car Championships 2026: Round 4 Arrives in Matschenberg!

After the first three races of the season, the 2026 FIA European Autocross & Cross Car Championships heads this weekend to the Matschenberg Offroad Arena, one of the most historic circuits on the European calendar for many years. The German track hosts the fourth round of the European Autocross & Cross Car Championship and the third round of the FIA European Junior Cross Car Championship.

The event promises to be particularly spectacular, with impressive entry numbers across all categories. The 54 Cross Car drivers, one of the largest grids of the season, stand out, along with over 30 Buggy 1600 and 23 SuperBuggy, a category that once again boasts a top-level field.

Among the weekend's highlights are numerous return entries.
Several drivers who missed the first three European rounds will be competing in Germany.
Among them is Bernd Stubbe, who returns to action with his Peters SuperBuggy, but with a new engine compared to the 2025 season.

And there won't be time to catch your breath: the following week, the championship moves to Nová Paka for the fifth round of the season. The initial entry lists already speak of exceptional numbers, with approximately 40 SuperBuggy and 40 Buggy 1600 expected at the start.

Two back-to-back races that will represent one of the most challenging trips of the year for us, but above all for the drivers and teams! Two races that promise a top-level European Autocross Championship and plenty of entertainment for the spectators!
