2021 Buggy 1600 European Champion Timo Pahler and his brother Colin Pahler are planning to take part in a partial European Championship season. AX MAGAZINE ITALIA invites you to discover the brothers' outlook for the 2025 season. Read more below!

Last year, I made my EAX debut in Vilkyčiai. It was a fantastic experience that I truly enjoyed. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, we weren’t able to compete in any other EAX races in 2024.

For the 2025 season, our goal is to participate in as many EAX races as possible, complemented by several rounds of the Autocross Masters with our 2WD Sprint 1600 buggy. For the upcoming season, we have brought back our former Alfa Racing buggy—the same one with which Timo won the 2021 Buggy 1600 Championship.

With my newly built Hayabusa 1600 engine, crafted by Uwe Kreuz, I will give it my all. My main goal for 2025 is to reach a Buggy 1600 final.

After three years of racing in the 2WD Sprint 1600 class of the Dutch Championship, we are returning to the Buggy 1600 category. Last year, during the third race of the season, I was involved in a major crash that completely destroyed my car, forcing us to build a new one from scratch. 

Together with my team and sponsors, we made the decision to move back to Buggy 1600. We have purchased the 2024 Kenny Reding car from Peters Autosport. 

Our plan for 2025 is to compete in three or four EAX races, as well as the Autocross Masters Championship in the Netherlands. The main goal for the season is to rediscover our pace in the Buggy 1600 class.
