Amazing weekend in Czech Republic!

26 August 2025, Ronalds

The sixth round of the 2025 FIA European Autocross Championship and fourth round of Junior CrossCar championship, brought an adrenaline-packed weekend at the legendary Přerov circuit, where intense speed battles, unexpected plot turns, and dramatic showdowns shook up the race!

Petr Nikodem Dominates in Super Buggy Showdown

In the Super Buggy category, Petr Nikodem proved unstoppable. After topping after all three qualifying heats and storming to victory in the final, Nikodem defeated none other than the “King of Autocross,” 10-time European Champion Bernd Stubbe. With maximum points secured, Nikodem made it clear that on the Přerov track, no one could match his pace this season. Stubbe settled for second, while third place went to fellow Czech driver Radek Jordak, giving local fans even more reason to cheer.

Jakub Novotny Shines in Buggy 1600

Despite modest results in the qualifying heats, Buggy 1600 was all about Jakub Novotny in the final. The Czech driver delivered a flawless performance to claim victory, while Frenchman Damien Crepeau secured second after a weekend of consistency. Dutch racer Ricardo Otto completed the podium in third, and debutant Nathan Ottink impressed with a strong fourth-place finish.

Junior Buggy French Star Breaks Czech Stronghold

In Junior Buggy, France’s Malone Feuillade rose above the Czech favorites to claim an emphatic victory. Local hero Martin Kolomy staged a spectacular comeback after suffering an engine failure in Saturday’s opening heat, climbing all the way to a well-earned second place. Third went to Eliska Plna, ensuring Czech pride remained intact on the podium.

Spanish Speed in CrossCar

The CrossCar final saw Spain’s Ivan Pina Chinchilla dominate the field, crossing the line ahead of David Meat, who took second after a fierce duel. France’s Yoann Gillouin claimed the final podium spot in third.

CrossCar Junior - A Final Full of Drama

The CrossCar Junior final had all the elements of a motorsport thriller. Oscar Fuertes and Jordan Genten fought hard, but on the exit of the fifth corner, Genten clipped a berm, rolled spectacularly, and was hit by several trailing cars. Thankfully, he escaped with only bruises. Red flags were shown, but as the incident occurred on the last lap, the race was not restarted. Victory went to Fuertes, Abel Gonzalez finished second, and Henri Haaf secured third.
