26 May 2025, Ronalds
Against the backdrop of pouring rain, mechanical setbacks, and fierce competition, a young driver from Galicia emerged as the unexpected hero of the European Championship final in Seelow. We sat down with him to find out how he pulled off this stunning win and what comes next!
The Seelow track is known for being technically demanding, and your results leading up to the final weren’t particularly strong. How did you manage to adapt so well and take the win in your debut race in the European Championship final?
I knew it was going to be a difficult weekend, but I stayed calm and kept pushing until the end so that I could take the win.
What were the biggest challenges you faced during the race? Could you share more details about that?
The weather was not good at all during the weekend — it was very rainy, especially on Sunday, and we had many mechanical problems. Luckily, we were able to fix them before the final.
Given your strong result in Seelow, what are your goals for this season? Are you planning to compete in all the rounds and fight for overall standings?
We had been practicing a lot before the start of the championship in order to compete in all the rounds successfully and fight to become the new junior champion.
As a driver from Galicia, Spain, how important is it for you to represent your region in the European rounds?
I am very proud to represent my region in the European Championship, and I hope to win as many rounds as possible for my people.
