The Super Buggy final at Maggiora delivered edge-of-your-seat action as two Czech powerhouses, Zdenek Antony and Petr Nikodem, battled fiercely for the top spot. Antony initially crossed the finish line first, but a protest from Nikodem over a first-lap collision forced the stewards to impose a two-second penalty on Antony. This dramatic decision handed the victory to Nikodem, while Germany’s Marco Furst claimed a solid third place after a consistent race. A special mention goes to Italian local hero Davide Casarin, who electrified the home crowd with an impressive eighth-place finish, showcasing determination and skill on his home soil. His performance added a warm and celebratory note to an already exhilarating weekend.
